DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
 

Assistance upon arrival at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 02 IN DELHI
 

Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Among some of the most interesting highlights of your city tour of Old and New Delhi are the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat in the old city area and the Government Buildings, a drive through the majestic Rajpath to the India Gate, the Laxmi Narayan Temple, the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutab Minar etc. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 03 DELHI-KATHMANDU
 

Morning after breakfast, departure transfer to the Airport to board flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city & Swayambunath.

Kathmandu is the capital of Hindu Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal, is also known as Kantipur. Tour includes visit to Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machender Bahal, holy to both Buddhists and Hindus, and the Temple House of Kumari the Vestal Virgin or the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Walk around the local bazaars and visit Singha Durbar.

Swayambunath, which is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa, which forms the main structure, is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper guilt. Painted on the four-sided base on the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. The whole area round the stupa is an array of small stupas and temples. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 KATHMANDU
 

Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour covering: Patan, an old Newar city includes the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing Temple of Teleju, the statue of Yogendra Malla and the old windows and carved balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars. Return via the Tibetan Handicrafts and Refugee Center. Bodhnath, the colossal Stupa is one of the largest in the world. This stupa has the all seeing-eyes of the Buddha by king Mana Deva in expiation of his sins of the advice inset with prayer wheels. Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. The temple is built in Pagoda style and has gilted roof & richly carved silver door. Bhaktapur (also known as Bhadgaon) is the home of medieval art & architecture. Bhaktapur was founded in the 09th century and is shaped like a conch shell. The city is at a height of 4600 ft above sea level. Visit the Durbar Square with its array of temples overlooked by the Palace of 55 windows built by King Bhupindra Malla and The Nyatapola Temple.Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 05 KATHMANDU-POKHARA
 

Morning after breakfast, drive to Pokhara and on arrival check in into hotel. Afternoon free to explore the valley. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06 POKHARA-DHAMPUS
 

Morning drive to the northwest through Yamdi Khola valley to the trek starting point - Dhampes Phedi. From here a 02 hours trek would lead you to the lovely village of Dhampus, strung out on a ridge, inhabited by the friendly Gurungs. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 07 DHAMPUS-LANDRUNG
 

Pass through forests and villages with the very welcoming tea houses, this day's trek keeps us on the ridge with fabulous vistas until Deurali (6,890 ft), the high point of this walk, then descending to Bheri Kharka - Sheep Pasture, high above the Modi Khola valley for lunch. Later proceed to Landrung where you will spend overnight at the Camp.

DAY 08 LANDRUNG-CHOMRUNG
 

A grand days walk will takes you into the Modi Khola valley with views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and Machapuchhare. The valley you will be trekking through in the next few days is all visible. First a short descent to the river then begins the climb of the day. Lunch is at Jhinu. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 09 CHOMRUNG-DOVAN
 

Despite modest linear distance covered the trail makes a constant switch back through the Modi Khola gorge. In the initial stage of the walk the route gives the possibility of views but later as the trailheads among rhododendron and bamboo forests it gets scarce but here the birds and Languar monkeys abound. You stop at Bamboo for lunch - a teashop amidst, one can guess - bamboo. An hour's walk reaches you to Dovan a place with three teahouses in a narrow, shaded valley. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 10 DOVAN-MACHAPUCCHARE BASE CAMP
 

Now as you walk in the deep Modi Khola valley the trail winds up among bambook thickets and forest to the famous Hinku cave that once housed a lodge. The cave lies separated from Deurali, the lunch spot by a stream that flows right off the Hiunchuli Peak that looms above you. Beyond Deurali the temperature vegetation quickly transforms into short, stunted Alpine. Lying too close to Machapuchhare and the surrounding Mountains the views from Machapuchhare Base Camp may not be up to your expectation, but to be able to enjoy the next few days, an overnight stay here is advisable. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 11 MACHAPUCCHARE BASE CAMP-ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP
 

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp ascends at a steady gradient, never very shortly, but the altitude is likely to have a tiring effect. Do not hurry, but ascend slowly & enjoy the expanding panorama. It's a clear, well-defined trail and as you gain height the lodge buildings can be seen ahead. The final rise is the steepest. After some time at this wonderful vantage point we turn back to retrace our steps going all the way back to Dovan. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 12 DOVAN-CHOMRUNG
 

Trek up to Chomrung.Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13 CHOMRUNG-GANDRUNG
 

This day you descend to Kimrong Khola on a fairly steep trail through Oak Forest for lunch. Then it's up again on the southern side to the picturesque village of Ghandrung with the last close views of Annapurna South and Huinchul. This large and prosperous village is also the headquarters of the very successful Annapurna Conservation Area.


DAY 14 GANDRUNG-POKHARA
 

For the last time you descend to the Modi Khola valley as you first head south then southwest towards the road head at Nayapul, half an hour away after crossing the Modi Khola at Birethanti. You meet your transport here that will take you to Pokhara. After you leave Ghandrung the mountains can only be seen on your drive from the road head to Pokhara. On arrival check in into hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 15 POKHARA-KATHMANDU
 

Morning after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu and on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 16 KATHMANDU-DELHI-DEPARTURE
 

In time departure transfer to Airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to a hotel for wash and change followed by dinner. Later departure transfer to the airport to board flight back home.
