Rajasthan invites you to feel the adventure of a Camel Safari, which takes you through the golden sands of the vast Thar Desert. The camel, popularly known as the ship of the desert, is not only common in the Thar Desert, but also the only means of transportation in remote areas. Ride through sandy tracks, passing through remote villages. Pitch your tent at a new place each night. Spend the evenings next to the campfire and dance to the folk music.

DAY 01 ARRIVE MUMBAI
 

Assistance on arrival at the hotel and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 02 MUMBAI-UDAIPUR
 

Morning departure transfer to the airport to board flight to Udaipur. Assistance on arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Later sightseeing tour of Udaipur city. Among the places visited are the City Palace - a majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake. A conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the Triple arched gate "Tripolia" with eight marble porticos; the Jagdish temple- built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo - Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with note worthy sculpted images; the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, which houses an interesting collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, paintings etc; the Saheliyon ki Bari with its many fountains etc.

A highlight of your trip to Udaipur is a sunset boat cruise on the beautiful placid Lake Pichola. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces including the beautiful city palace, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. There are two island palaces, The Jagmandir and Jagniwas and also the beautiful Lake Palace sits on an island in this lake. Boat rides, which originate from the City Palace jetty (known as Bansi Ghat), are a popular way of exploring the natural beauty of Udaipur. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03 UDAIPUR-RANAKPUR-JODHPUR
 

Morning depart by surface to Jodhpur en route visiting the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quite and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple different from each other. The magic of light and shade is awe-inspiring.

On arrival in Jodhpur check-in at the hotel.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. Jodhpur city. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Later visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memoriam built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 04 JODHPUR-HARIYASAR
 

Morning depart by coach towards Rajmathai via Baleser Sergarh and Phalsoond (approx 150 kms), where our Camel safari team will be waiting to receive you. Lunch at Rajmathai. Later Camel safari begins for Hariyasar. Dinner and overnight at Tented Camp.

DAY 05 HARIYASAR-OLA
 

Morning after breakfast Camel safari begins and proceed for Village Aarang. After lunch at Aarnag, continue your safari to Ola village. Dinner and overnight at Ola Tented Camp.


DAY 06 OLA-BHAINSRA
 

After breakfast begin your camel safari to Dangari for lunch. After lunch proceed to village Bhainsra. Dinner and overnight at tented camp at Bhainsra.


DAY 07 BHAINSRA-RASALA
 

Breakfast at the Camp. Continue your safari to Village Merajata. After lunch, proceed on safari to Rasala village, which would be your last camp on the Camel Safari. Dinner and overnight at the Rasala Camp.

DAY 08 RASALA-JAISALMER
 

Breakfast at the hotel. Later leave by surface to Jaisalmer (60 kms) and on arrival check-in at the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 09 IN JAISALMER
 

Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer city. Jaisalmer - the last citadel in the desert. The Golden fort of Jaisalmer used to be a regular scheduled stop for the caravans plying on the ancient silk route, and was a major trading centre. Visit to the Fort, the Gadisar Lake and the famous Havelis - some of the most exotic ones being the Nathamalji hi Haveli, the Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli.

Afternoon excursion to Sam Sand Dunes and take short camels ride. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 10 JAISALMER-BIKANER
 

Morning depart by surface to Bikaner en route visiting Deshnok (Rat) Temple.
On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 11 BIKANER-MANDAWA
 

Morning sightseeing tour of Bikaner city. Bikaner city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. Visit the old Fort built by Raja Rai Singh. Also visit Ganga Golden Museum.

Afternoon proceed by surface to Mandawa. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 12 MANDAWA-SAMODE-JAIPUR
 

Morning sightseeing tour of the Havelies of Mandawa. Mandawa, a small town has many havelis and temples. The terrace of the rugged fort provides a panoramic view of the town. See the extraordinary frescoes on the walls of the houses. Later proceed by surface to Jaipur en route visiting Samode Palace. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13 IN JAIPUR
 

Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Take a ride on gaily-decorated elephant to the ramparts of the Fort.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city. Among the principal sights are the Jantar Mantar or the Observatory, The Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal, The City Palace & Museum and choki dhani. Jaipur is also a major center of precious and semi precious stones, jewellery, cotton textiles and the typical Blue Pottery.


DAY 14 JAIPUR-DELHI
 

Morning depart by surface to Delhi and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 15 IN DELHI
 

Full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Among some of the most interesting highlights of your city tour of Old and New Delhi are the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat in the old city area and the Government Buildings, a drive through the majestic Rajpath to the India Gate, the Laxmi Narayan Temple, the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutab Minar etc. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 16 DEPART DELHI
 

In time departure transfer to the airport to board flight back home.
