DAY 01 ARRIVE KATHMANDU
 

Assistance on arrival at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city & Swayambunath. Kathmandu is the capital of Hindu Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. Visit to Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machender Bahal, holy to both Buddhists and Hindus, and the Temple House of Kumari the Vestal Virgin or the Living Goddess. Swayambunath, said to be a 2000 years old stupa, which forms the main structure, is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper guilt. Painted on the four-sided base on the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 02 KATHMANDU
 

Morning excursion to Patan, an old Newar city includes the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing Temple of Teleju, the statue of Yogendra Malla and the old windows and carved balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars. Return via the Tibetan Handicrafts and Refugee Center.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bodhnath, Pashupatinath & Bhaktpur.
Bodhnath, the colossal Stupa is one of the largest in the world. This stupa has the all seeing-eyes of the Buddha by king Mana Deva. Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. Bhaktapur (also known as Bhadgaon) is the home of medieval art & architecture. Bhaktapur was founded in the 09th century and is shaped like a conch shell. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 03 KATHMANDU/BIRATNAGAR/KALIMPONG
 

Morning departure transfer to the airport to board flight to Biratnagar. Assistance on arrival and drive to Kalimpong. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kalimpong city. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04 KALIMPONG-GANGTOK
 

Morning drive to Gangtok en route visiting Rumtek Monastery. On arrival check- in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 05 IN GANGTOK
 

Morning half day sightseeing tour visiting the Enchey Monastery, Tashi view point, Tashiling and the Cottages Industries Institute. Afternoon visit of Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the Chorten (Memorial for the dead). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06 GANGTOK-DARJEELING
 

Morning leave by surface to Darjeeling (97 kms/4 hours approx). On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07 IN DARJEELING
 

Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to view sunrise. Take a toy train ride (subject to operations) to the Tibetan Monastery at Ghoom. Afternoon visit the highest race course in the world at the Lablong Village and also visit the Mountaineering Institute House of Tenzing Norgay. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 08 DARJEELING-BAGDOGRA-DELHI
 

Morning transfer to Bagdogra (approx 90 kms/3hrs) airport to board 9W 602 at 1415/1640 hrs to Delhi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Farewell Dinner at one of the typical Indian restaurants. Late evening departure transfer to the airport to board flight back home.

DAY 09 DEPART DELHI
