Afternoon proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting
the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial
residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate,
a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers
martyred during the Afghan war; the Bangla Saheb
Gurudwara, and Gurudwara Rakab Ganj; Qutab Minar,
built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty.

Morning
after breakfast, sightseeing tour of Old Delhi
includes the Mata Sundari Gurudwara (wife of Guru
Gobind Singh), the majestic Red Fort, the historical
Chandni Chowk and the Gurudwara Sisganj Saheb.
Also visit Raj Ghat, where father of the nation
- Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Overnight

In time transfer
to Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express for
Chandigarh. Assistance on arrival at Chandigarh
Railway Station and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Chandigarh including
Rock Garden, constructed almost entirely out of
city garbage; Rose Garden 30 landscaped acres
containing a variety of 1600 roses; Museum & Art
Gallery housing a good collection of sculptures
and paintings. Overnight

Day
return excursion to Anandpur, where the tenth
Guru, Gobind Singh, instituted the Khalsa in 1699.
Keshgarh Sahib situated at Anandpur is considered
to be the birthplace of Khalsa Guru Gobind Singh
founded the Khalsa order 1699. Overnight
at the hotel.

to Manali and upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Morning full day
sightseeing tour of Dharamsala.
A beautiful little hill resort, Dharamshala is
lying on the other side of Chamba. It is the headquarters
of Kangra district. The waterfall of Bhagsunath
is within a walking distance. The Dalai Lama,
the head of Tibetan Buddhism, who fled Lhasa in
1959, has lived in refuge in this hill town. Overnight
at the hotel.

DHARAMSALA-AMRITSAR |

Morning
drive to Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar and check -
in at hotel. Later city tour of Amritsar visiting
the famous Golden Temple, a glittering gold and
marble temple, which is one of the holiest Sikh
shrines. Durgiana Mandir is a temple with a golden
dome and silver doors; Jalianwala Bagh has a memorial
built in memory of unarmed victims massacred by
the British. Overnight at

trip to nearby shrines of Tarn Taran and Goindwal.

Enjoy a boat ride
on river Ganges. In Varanasi life and various
activities revolve around the river. Life begins
before dawn when thousands of pilgrims - and devotees
- come down to the river to offer early morning
prayers. Also visit the famous ghats and enjoy
a spectacular view of sunrise from river Ganges.
Later visit The Vishwanath Temple built by the
Birlas and was planned by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya.
The Bharat Mata Temple houses, instead of gods
and goddesses, a huge relief map in marble of
the whole of Indian subcontinent. The Tulsi Manas
Temple, built in 1964, is dedicated to Lord Rama.
Afternoon excursion to Sarnath, the fabled place
bear testimony to its great past where Lord Buddha
delivered his first sermon to his disciples expounding
the principles of Buddhism. Overnight

for the city sightseeing tour visiting The Taj
Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble
and its walls are decorated with exquisite stone
inlay work. Also visit The Agra Fort makes an
interesting sight.
Afternoon drive back to Delhi and upon arrival
dinner at one of the restaurants. Later departure
transfer to the airport to board flight back home.
