DAY 01 ARRIVE MUMBAI
   

Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 02 IN MUMBAI
 

Excursion to Elephanta Caves (closed on Mondays) - from the Gateway of India take a motor launch to the 7th century sculptures of manifestation of Shiva. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai city visiting Prince of Wales Musuem (closed on Mondays), Fish Aquarium, Jain Temples, Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills offering nice view of Marine Lines and Chowpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru Park and Marine drive. Overnight in Mumbai.

DAY 03 MUMBAI-BHUJ
 

Morning transfer to the airport to board flight to Bhuj. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the Garha Safari Lodge, which is located approx 14 kms outside the town. In the afternoon visit the Katchh Museum which, built in 1877, is the oldest museum in GujaratOvernight in Bhuj.

DAY 04 BHUJ
 

Jeep Safari in the Rann of Katchh - Home to the famous Indian Wild Ass and a number of exotic birds coming from as far as Siberia. Overnight in Bhuj

 

DAY 05 BHUJ-WANKANER
   

Drive from Bhuj to Wankaner. A small princely state Wankaner is a small sleepy town. Visit the nearby Bharwad tribe village to see their lifestyle. Overnight at the Wankaner Palace Hotel.


DAY 06 WANKANER
 

Morning visit to the personal museum of the prince. Afternoon free. In the evening dinner at the main palaces accompanied by folk dances. Overnight in Hotel.

DAY 07 WANKANER-SASAN GIR
 

Drive from Wankaner to Sasan Gir en-route visiting Junagarh, which is an ancient city at the foot of Girnar. Among the attractions of Junagarh are the Uparkot fort and the Ashokan Rock edicts, which date back to 250 B.C. Continue on to Sasangir. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 08 SASAN GIR
 

Wild life viewing at Sasan Gir park. Besides providing shelter to over 30 species of mammals, 20 species of reptiles and several species of birds it is the home for the King of the jungle - the Asiatic Lion. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 09 SASAN GIR-AHMEDPUR MANDVI
 

Drive to Ahmedpur Mandvi. With its splendid beach Ahmedpur Mandvi is an ideal place for a holiday. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 10 AHMEDPUR MANDVI-BHAVNAGAR
   

Drive to Bhavnagar. Founded in 1743 Bhavnagar today is a flourishing port on the Gulf of Khambhat. Overnight stay


DAY 11 BHAVNAGAR
 

An early morning drive to Palitana is one of the most sacred shrines of Jainism. Located at the foot of the Shatrunjaya Hills rising in a crescendo of 863 magnificent temples, totalling 863 in number. Overnight at the hotel


DAY 12 BHAVNAGAR-AHAMEDABAD
   

Drive from Bhavnagar to Ahmedabad - The Manchester of India. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13 AHAMEDABAD
   

City tour of Ahmedabad - some of the principal attractions are the Jumma Masjid, Sarkhej Roza, Rani Rupmati Masjid, Siddi Syed Mosque, Tran Darwaza, Dada Harini Vav, Gandhi Ashram, etc. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 14 AHAMEDABAD
 

Morning visit to the Calico Textile Museum - one of the finest textile museums in the world with a rare collection of textiles, which date back to 17th century. Also visit the Shreyas Museum of folk art. Afternoon free. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 15 AHAMEDABAD-MUMBAI
   

A visit to the step wells at Adalaj Vav in the morning. Later return to the hotel. In the evening transfer to the airport for flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 16 DEPART MUMBAI

   

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight back home.
